Uncomfortably hot conditions expected in Polokwane from today

While the weather service hasn't warned of a heatwave, temperatures will reach 38 degrees on Tuesday

POLOKWANE – Spring has officially sprung and best you get your sunblock and sun hats out as it’s about to get hot.

According to the South African Weather Service’s forecast, temperatures are expected to peak in the high thirties this week.

High temperatures are expected between Monday and Wednesday, remaining in the mid to high thirties with Tuesday peaking at 38 degrees.

With uncomfortable conditions expected, it is important to keep hydrated and try and stay out of the sun if possible.

Heat can affect your health more than you might think. Prolonged exposure to hot temperatures can lead to worsening of heart problems, respiratory difficulties and can also cause heatstroke.
