The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in Limpopo is boasting a new leadership collective after its provincial peoples’ assembly of the weekend where Jossey Buthane was elected as party chairperson in the province.
The newly elected Provincial Secretary replacing him is George Raphela. Cedric Seshoka was reportedly voted in as new Deputy Chairperson, Charles Mohlala as Deputy Secretary and Tinyiko Manganyi as Treasurer of the EFF in Limpopo. The top five positions form part of the party’s provincial executive of 21 members.
According to Buthane all went well during the assembly, the gathering was incident-free and democracy prevailed. Although the election of leaders was on the programme, it wasn’t as much of a priority to delegates to the assembly as the elections of 2019, how to tackle and win it, he indicated.
Buthane said preparations for the elections were priority at the moment while the party was taking structures through provincial peoples’ assemblies. Thus far six EFF peoples’ assemblies had been held across provinces, it was learnt.
