WATCH: Gigaba launches #CollectYourID campaign in Polokwane
The purpose of the campaign is to emphasise the importance of people collecting their ID cards ahead of the elections

POLOKWANE – The minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba, was at the Polokwane office this morning for the launch of ID Collection Campaign as part of gearing up for the voter registration drive ahead of the general elections set to be held in 2019.

He emphasised the importance of people collecting their smart ID cards ahead of the voter registration drive.
He said the department will work together with municipalities to ensure that the ID’s are collected and activated.
