It was a closely contested cricket match that saw Northern Academy Primary School’s u.11 team beat Laerskool Piet Hugo Primary last Thursday.
Piet Hugo batted first and scored 87 runs in 20 overs with seven wickets going down. Northern Academy made 88 runs off 18 overs, losing five wickets.
The match was part of the Primary Schools Cricket League and more matches are scheduled in the weeks to come.
