Learners at Pietersburg English Medium Primary School (Pemps) made the most of the warm, sunny weather during a fun day held at the school on Friday to celebrate the start of spring.
They had loads of fun on the jumping castle, water slide and gladiator basher and eventually also splashing each other with water.
Educator Mabine Mametja said the day was for learners to have fun and raise funds for the school as learners were requested to buy tickets to participate in various activities. He further stated that this was an annual event. Mametja thanked parents for their continued support of such initiatives.
Sharejoy Pre-School also treated their little learners to games and a picnic to welcome the new season. They dressed up in fancy clothes and colourful takkies to support Takkie Tax campaign. School principal Josephine Kagori said the learners really enjoyed the day and it was important to take a break from the classroom and allow the learners to celebrate spring.
