Municipal technicians will be working on the 66KV line between Delta and Lota substations from 06h00 until 09h30 on Saturday, 01 September 2018.

The municipality says this might cause the line to trip causing possible electricity outages.

Areas that might be affected include Mall of the North, Savanna Mall, Celtic lodge, Thornhill, Morula Heights, Serala View and a portion of Fauna Park.

“The municipality will try hard to have power on while working on the lines, but residents and businesses are cautioned to be on the high alert to the possibility of power outages,” the statement concluded.
