The theme for August related to human trafficking and the operation of emergency services and representatives from Stop Trafficking of People (Stop) and ER24 Ambulance Services recently entertained the young ones with interactive presentations where they, among other, were allowed to browse inside an ambulance and were shown how patients are treated in emergency situations.
They were also told how to preserve the integrity of their bodies and to be vigilant when dealing with unknown persons.
“They were told what to do in an emergency at home, at the school and even on the road,” Elize Fourie, principal of Kraaines Pre-school said.
