Sixty-two Grade 8 learners recently embarked on an adventurous four-day trip to an adventure camp outside Mookgophong. The days were filled with exciting activities and life lessons. The school reported that participants were equipped with essential life skills as they enhanced their inbuilt socio, emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual abilities received from God. The first activity involved designing a farm yard using mud and water which allowed them to make different shapes and competed in groups for the best farm yard, followed by several other challenging activities.
Athletes from the school participated at the last round of Limpopo Cross Country Championships at Polokwane Game Reserve recently and have all achieved their personal best times. Eagle’s Nest Christian School educators reportedly joined the recent South African Council of Educators fun walk at Capricorn High School with the aim to exercise and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
