Driver loses control, truck lands on side

A refrigerated truck landed on its side at the Dalmada traffic circle after the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle earlier today (Thursday).
An eyewitness said two people were in the vehicle that was travelling from the city towards Mankweng. The person also said he was informed that the truck was carrying a load of maize meal.
According to him similar accidents happen at the circle nearly daily and cited the example of a truck driver that had lost control yesterday (Wednesday) at the same spot causing the vehicle to overturn and catch fire.
He went on to blame high speed driving for the regular incidents.
Nobody was injured in either of the two accidents.
