[WATCH] Premier Mathabatha speaks about the consequences of corruption

Limpopo Provincial Government National hosted the Anti-Corruption Strategy Stakeholder Engagement Forum at the new Peter Mokaba stadium.

POLOKWANE – Premier Chupu Mathabatha delivered the keynote address regarding the National Anti-Corruption Strategy. He spoke about the impact of corruption on service delivery in the country, stating that corruption is one of the underlying factors that the government is unable to deliver the services that are due to as many people as they should.

He called for people to take action against corruption asking them to question their conscience and that if they know about something that is amiss, to take action against it because if you know about corrupt activities and aren’t doing anything about it, you are just as guilty.

Mathabatha further urged people to join in the fight against corruption, reiterating the importance of a joined effort in eradicating the corruption that exists in the country, not only in the public sector but the private as well.
