Temperatures to warm up over the weekend despite chilly start

The chilly wind currently sweeping through Polokwane is due to a cold front passing over the eastern part of South Africa.

POLOKWANE – We might be moving into spring but the cold weather still has it in for us to remind us that winter isn’t over just yet.

According to the South African Weather Service, cooler temperatures are expected this week with the weekend warming up to the high twenties.

The chilly wind currently sweeping through Polokwane is due to a cold front passing over the eastern part of South Africa. As a result, Monday and Tuesday will be the coldest days of the week at 22 and 18 degrees respectively.

Saturday and Sunday will warm up, bringing sunny weather with it at 29 and 31 degrees.

No rain has been forecast but partly cloudy conditions are expected on Monday and Wednesday.
