Laerskool Pietersburg-Oos (Oosskool) is at the top of the Limpopo Spur Schools Mountain Bike League following the second event, the Tour de Capricorn, which took place in Polokwane on Saturday.
This was the second of four mountain biking tours that form part of the league. Oosskool leads at the moment having scored the most points, 196 over the past weekend bringing their total score, also the highest, to 362 points giving them an astounding 95 point lead above the school in second place, which is Hoërskool Louis Trichardt (Triegies) who scored 132 points on Saturday and have a total of 267 points.
In third place is Stanford Lake College (SLC) with a total of 210 points followed by Unicorn Primary school with 204 points and Hoërskool Pietersburg (PHS) with 198 points.
The next event will be the Tour de Lake set to take place at Stanford Lake College in Haenertsburg on 1 September.

Amilia Goosen, Kayla Crause and Karisma Landman are part of the PHS team, which is currently lying fifth in the league.
Jovan Steenkamp and Vaughn Scheepers are part of the Oosskool mountain biking team that is at the top of the league at the moment.
Brandon Brandt and Dauglas Piorek are part of the Triegies team, which is in second place in the league.
Members of the SLC team, which is currently number three in the league are Heidi Katzke, Rachel Thomson, Zoë Burman, Danica Altenroxel, Helene Werhahn and Clara Werhahn.
