Annual SA Run 4 Cancer Ultra Marathon is just around the corner

This year promises to be bigger and better than last year with a new and exciting route.

POLOKWANE – Creating cancer awareness is something which comes under the spotlight again in October when the SA Run 4 Cancer Ultra Marathon will take place in the city.

“The reason we changed the route is because the old one is too quite and with no spectators to cheer the runners. Once again we want to take the race to the community. The new route its more or less the same like the one we used last year,” said Tom Sedibe, organiser of the event.

The SA Run 4 Cancer takes place on Saturday, 27 October from Moria ZCC.

Pre-Entries are open until 22 October and foreign athletes must provide a clearance certificate and an ASA authentication letter to the race organisers.

There will be no T-shirt for late entries on site. T-Shirts can be bought separately at R150.
