POLOKWANE – The event was held at Parliamentary Village.
His inauguration comes after the resignation of Soviet Lekganyane who has since taken up the role as the ANC Provincial Secretary.
The Speaker of Limpopo Legislature, Polly Boshielo, presided over the ceremony.
In his acceptance speech, Mashamaite said it was an honour and humbling experience.
“My duty now is to be trusted. I have signed the oath stating I will be faithful.
“We will work as part of the collective to move Legislature forward,” said Mashamaite.
Boshielo furthermore said as Legislature they were looking for fresh ideas.
“As Legislature, we are always open to new ideas and ways of doing things because at the end of the day, our objective is to make sure people get their services, so bringing new people will bring new energy and new skills,” she said.
