School challenges others in Pet Supplies Drive

It is time for Laerskool Piet Hugo Primary’s annual Pet Supplies Drive during which pet food, blankets, feeding bowls, pet toys and cash donations are collected in aid of the SPCA Polokwane. The drive will run for August and September and this year the school has issued a challenge to all other schools in the city to try and match or better their donation.
Organiser of the drive, educator Liza Semet quoted Nelson Mandela, saying, “We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference”. She added that each and every donation no matter how small will indeed make a difference.
Semet further encouraged people wishing to add a pet to their family to go and take a look at the many gorgeous pets availabe at the SPCA.
