Giants of respective industries and sectors in Limpopo were saluted for their excellence of the past year when PMR.africa awards held its annual awards ceremony at Protea Hotel Ranch Resort on Monday morning.
PMR.africa is a division of a South African consultancy and research company that publishes a business journal that serves as platform for results of its surveys.
During his address to local leaders and achievers, PMR.africa Chief Executive Officer Johan Hattingh indicated that the occasion recognised excellence across all industry sectors and created an opportunity and platform for awards to be handed over to those who have excelled the past year.
He continued saying strategies, efforts and hard work were being recognised as well as staff complements being acknowledged for their contribution to winning institutions.
For purposes of the research survey ratings done on a 1:5 scale to determine industry leaders across the province.
The Limpopo survey is but one of a host of surveys conducted by PMR.africa across South Africa and other African countries.
Awards categories recognised a host of players in the local economy, from accountants and architect firms to water service providers and institutions of higher education.
In a similar fashion to close to 50 industry giants in the province having distinguished themselves, Polokwane Observer yet again bagged another big one when it took home the highest recognition in the category for local newspapers, a 12th coveted Diamond Arrow award.
