Six leaks on Ebenezer pipeline to be repaired in planned shutdown

Areas to be affected include Polokwane, Mankweng and Tzaneen.

POLOKWANE – According to a statement released by the Municipality, Lepelle Northern Water says there will be planned repairs of leaking pipes at the Ebenezer Plant on 14 August 2018.

This is to repair six leaks on the bulk pipeline and will begin at 08:00 till 19:00.

Polokwane, Mankweng, Sebayeng/ Dikgale and Tzaneen will be affected but the municipality as well as Lepelle Northern Water say they will ensure that reservoirs have sufficient water to minimize shortages during the repair period.

“We urge members of the public to use water sparingly and limit water usage to domestic consumption only. Water and Sanitation issues should be reported to the municipality on the following numbers: 015 290 2376/2473.”
