POLOKWANE – The body was found in the open field opposite Progress Milling alongside Witklip Street, an area frequented by pedestrians taking a shortcut on their way to work.
While waiting for the police to finalise their investigations, Review saw a pistol or handgun being retrieved and photographed by forensic personnel.
The man was wearing a blue jeans and a brown windbreaker jacket. It seems that the body, when moved by forensic pathologists, was stiff already.
Review still awaits comment from the police regarding the incident.
