Bekker Street in Fauna Park was closed earlier this morning (Friday) to allow for the replacement of a section of waterpipe ?that burst overnight, leaving residents of Flora Park, Fauna Park and Serala View without water.
According to Stakeholder Relations Officer of Polokwane Municipality, Disree Manyane, the outlet valves from the Krugersburg reservoir had to be shut off. “It is estimated that repairs will be completed this afternoon,” Manyane said.
Manyane offered the municipality’s apologies for any inconvenience caused.
