POLOKWANE – Shoprite staff together with volunteers celebrated Mandela Day by cleaning up around town. This was part of a nationwide clean up event called “Africa’s biggest clean up”.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION: My name is Joyce Maluleke from Ga Mamabolo and I work for Polokwane municipality. I am here at Shoprite on Market Street to do my 67 minutes because I saw it of importance to respect the legacy of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela as well as his birthday. Long live Nelson Rolihlahla, long live! Forward South Africa, forward! Thuma Mina!”
