A reward of R50 000 is set aside for anyone with information that might lead to the arrest of the suspects involved in a shooting incident at Henny Mabuza hostel outside Ritavi resulting in the death of a 28-year-old woman last night (Wednesday).
Provincial Police Spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe indicated that Innocentia Nxalati Shingange and
her 20-year-old partner were asleep when a group of armed suspects stormed into the room and started shooting randomly without saying a word.
Shingange was killed during the incident while her partner was wounded in the thigh and is currently recuperating in hospital.
The Police reacted swiftly and a manhunt was launched. One of the suspects was allegedly wearing black jeans and a blue jersey at the time.
The motive behind the killing is not yet known and Police are investigating cases of murder and attempted murder.
