POLOKWANE – According to Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) operations at the Ebenezer Scheme will be stopped this morning to allow technicians to repair multiple leakages along the bulk pipeline, says the Polokwane Municipality.
The repairs will start from 08:00 until around 18:00 and residents are warned that water shortages are possible.
Areas of supply that will be affected include Mankweng, Tzaneen, Flora Park, Sterkpark, Bendor, Rainbow Park, Mall of the North, CBD and high catchment areas.
In the meantime, Polokwane Municipality will continue with water tankers deployment in all areas affected by water shortage. The Dalmada and Seshego water purification plants are temporarily open for the public.

Most of the reservoirs in the city and Seshego are currently at 0%. Areas in the low catchment that receive supply are warned to limit water usage to domestic consumption only.
The municipality is engaging continuously with Lepelle Northern Water to ensure supply is restored and appreciates your patience during this difficult period.
