12 women elected in ANC Peter Mokaba REC
The Peter Mokaba Regional Executive Committee (REC) was announced after the 8th Regional Conference that took place in Polokwane on 06-07 July.
POLOKWANE – Conference conducted elections for the Top 5 positions, and the following officials were elected into these positions: John Mpe is the Regional Chairperson, Solly Pheedi is the Deputy Chairperson, Eugene Masete is the regional secretary, Edward Paya Deputy Regional Secretary and Nakedi Sibanda was elected Regional Treasurer. 12 women were elected as additional members of the REC, which is a clear indication of the representation of women.
On that same note, the 7th ANC Waterberg Regional Conference took place in Mokopane with the following being elected to be the Waterberg Regional Executive Committee (REC), Morris Mataboge is the Regional Chairperson, Frans Mokwele is the Deputy Chairperson, Jacob Moabelo is the Regional Secretary, Sarah Monyamane is the Deputy Regional Secretary and Jeremiah Ngobeni is the Regional Treasurer.
