The opening of High Society Lifestyle Lounge on the corner of De Wet Drive and DieMeer Street on Monday evening signified the materialisation of a three-year dream for owner Jacqueline Ferns, who also owns Ace Models Limpopo and Closet Couture.
Her new venture is unique in Polokwane with several businesses being housed under the High Society banner all brought together at the centre by Flat White, a brand new artisan coffee café where artisan coffee and food baked by The Real Irene are served.
Visitors to the centre can choose from an array of services offered by several businesses and all related to the beauty industry including a hairdresser, makeup artistry, photographer, skin products and designer clothes.
Performing at the opening was band 15OH5 and Irene Schempers could be seen busily creating gourmet treats for guests while Pieter Schempers produced artisan coffees by the dozen.
Welcoming guests, Ferns congratulated and thanked everyone involved for a job well done.
“We had a month to get everything ready, and we did it!” she exclaimed adding that she hoped guests would enjoy themselves and return to make use of the services available.
