Mokopane fraudster(s) rip off unsuspecting investors through pyramid scheme

The Mokopane Police have since launched a search the for unknown suspect(s) following the incident of theft by false pretense

 

LIMPOPO – This comes after more than a hundred people were defrauded of an undisclosed amount of money through the so-called quick investment. A pyramid scheme which has allegedly been operating in the area since February 2018, says Police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe.

The place in question is Mokopane Royal Fund Investment and allegedly had an office at no 77E Nelson Mandela Drive opposite Shell Garage. The institution seemed authentic and had a registered residential, Google, Email and web address.

When the unsuspecting clients arrived at the said premises this morning, some to collect their money and to invest more money, they were shocked to find the doors were locked and  chained.  The victims immediately notified and police and have since opened charges, confirmed Ngoepe.

The Police appeal to anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect(s ) involved in this matter to contact Lieutenant Colonel Moshapate Sekanka at 082 565 8505. Alternatively they can contact the crime stop number 0860010111 or the crime line sms 32211 or the nearest Police Station..

The Police investigations are underway, concluded Ngoepe.
