ANC Lim executive elects Provincial Working Committee, sub-committees

The Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) of the African National Congress (ANC) has elected its Provincial Working Committee (PWC) and sub-committees during a meeting yesterday (Wednesday), the first following the weekend conference of the party in Limpopo.
In a media statement issued afterwards, the ANC in Limpopo said the PEC, among others, has confirmed that conferences of Peter Mokaba and Waterberg Regions would be convened simultaneously next weekend. At the same time the PEC confirmed a decision taken at the conference to convene a Special Provincial General Council (PGC) not later than the end of July.
The newly elected PWC consists of Thabo Mokone, Jerry Ndou, Andrina Matsemela, Monicca Mochadi, Dickson Masemola, Nkakareng Rakgoale, Thandi Moraka, Mavhungu Luruli-Ramakhanya and Polly Boshielo.
The Convenor of the sub-committee on Organisational Building and Campaigns is Joshua Matlou, while Rudolph Phala is the Convenor of the sub-committee on Political Education, Masemola the Convenor of the Economic Transformation sub-committee and Makoma Makurupetje Convenor of the sub-committee on Social Transformation.
Legislature and Governance was entrusted to Mokone, Peace and Stability to Nandi Ndalane, Health and Education to Luruli-Ramakhanya, International Relations to Ndou and Communications to Donald Selamolela, who was also appointed as PEC spokesperson.
