Votes in favour of members of the Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) of the African National Congress (ANC) in Limpopo are being counted still.
From the last check with ANC Limpopo spokesperson Aluwani Netsianda it was established that counting of votes for additionals to serve on the Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) was still taking place.
It was expected that the names of the new PEC members would be announced late this afternoon (Monday), he indicated.
The conference, addressed by President Cyril Ramaphosa yesterday (Sunday), reportedly commenced at 01:01 on Saturday as delegates from branches across Limpopo met to elect a leadership collective. Nominations for additional commenced yesterday morning after the announcement of the top leadership collective, led by re-elected ANC Provincial Chairperson Stan Mathabatha.
