Two people killed in collision at the Tarentaal junction near Tzaneen

LIMPOPO – Police in Ritavi, outside Tzaneen, are still investigating the cause of a fatal accident which occurred this morning, 23 June, at the Tarentaal Junction along the Tzaneen and Phalaborwa road.

According to police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe, two motor vehicles collided and two people were certified dead at the scene.

“The jaws of life were used to remove the bodies and a case of culpable homicide has been opened for further police investigations to take place,” he concluded.
