After much delay and ahead of a pending court matter later this morning (Saturday), the provincial elective conference of the African National Congress (ANC) started at 01.01 today.
Delegates from all five regions were registered at Bolivia Lodge by around 22.30 before making their way to the conference venue at Protea Hotel Ranch Resort.
By then the most prominent topic of discussion was predicted leadership preferences for the top five positions, without much attention to other matters.
In terms of the planned programme the conference is due to close tomorrow afternoon.
