POLOKWANE – According to the Polokwane Municipality there will be planned power outage due to Voortrekker substation upgrading and maintenance work on existing electrical service network.
The following areas are to be affected as follows:
-Between Biccard and Webster streets,
-Between Suid and Rissik streets,
-Moregloed and surroundings,
-Moregloed and surroundings,
-Moregloed pool and surroundings and
-Between hospital and surroundings.
The planned power outage is scheduled to take place on 20 June from 00:00 until 16:00.
Resodnets are urged to switch off all electrical appliances including geysers to avoid any damages.
“All electrical wires should be considered to be live at all times,” says the municipality.
