Home remedies to soothe itchy feet

It is not uncommon for people for experience itchy feet for reasons that can range from feet that are too dry or overly moist.

Baking Soda
This should be nicknamed the jack of all trades because it seems to fix just about anything. Baking Soda can be used by adding it into water until it’s a fine paste. Spread the paste on your toes and keep it on there for 10 minutes before you rinse it off. This might sooth the irritation for a while

Petroleum Jelly
This is a brilliant home remedy to treat itchy feet caused by dryness. Apply the petroleum jelly thoroughly on your feet and cover with socks; this will moisturize your feet. Repeat for a few days and you will start feeling the difference.

Salt Water soak
Soak your feet in warm Epsom salted water to relieve the irritation. Just add a cup of Epsom salt to just enough water to soak just your feet. Soak your feet for 10 to 15 minutes at a time.

Peppermint Oil
Peppermint Oil is perfect for itchy feet because of its cooling properties which can minimize inflammation and pain as well as soothe the skin.

White Vinegar
Add 2/3 tablespoons of white vinegar to warm water. The acidity of the vinegar kills fungi and bacteria
