Review did some research to find out what sort of gift would make your dad happy based on what type of Dad he is

POLOKWANE – Father’s Day is celebrated worldwide to recognize the contribution that fathers and father figures make to the lives of their children.

This day celebrates fatherhood and male parenting. Although it is celebrated on a variety of dates worldwide, many countries observe this day on the third Sunday in June.

However, the much anticipated celebratory day is almost here and buying the perfect gift for Dads can be a daunting task.

Review did some research to find out what sort of gift would make your dad happy based on what type of Dad he is.

First and foremost, one must take into consideration what type of a dad they have. All dads, are cool, some are more dapper than others and obviously, they all have different tastes and interests in life. So here is a list of things to consider:

Gifts for the Rebel Dad: We don’t mean rebel in a bad way, but a cool way. These are dads who always break rules made by mommies but are still very firm to discipline little ones using rather much toned down, cool ways. These types of dads are the type to scold you while having fun with you, make you work for pocket money to teach you responsibility etc.

  • What to get: Cologne, a gown, a belt, a tie, a scarf or a beanie to keep him warm, or even a bottle of his favourite drink is sure to make his day this Fathers Day.

Gifts for the adventurous Dad: These dads are easier to please as all they really want or care for are outdoor activities such as braaing with friends and familiy (make sure he is in charge of the braaing of the meat, it makes him feel in control). Adventurous Dads enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hiking and so forth.

  • What to get: One can consider buying their dadventurous dad a braaing kit, hiking trail equipment such as hiking trainers or clothes for hiking, a rucksack, a walking stick, knife and multi tool set, cool designer water bottles and so forth.

Gifts for the Dapper Dad: The Dapper Dad’s ooze sophistication in terms of their looks. They love to look good

  • What to get: You can treat this type of dad with a dine out dinner date to a classy restaurant.
