Possible water shortages expected due to Dap Naude pipe leak

The municipality has urged residents to use water sparingly.

POLOKWANE – According to the municipality’s marketing and communications manager, Matshidiso Mothapo, the Dalmada water plant is not operating optimally due to the Dap Naude pipe leak along the R71 road.

“As a result, high catchment areas in the city may experience shortages or low pressure. The public is therefore advised to use water sparingly as the reservoir levels are currently low,” he concluded.
