POLOKWANE – If you’re a lover of butternut as well as chilli then this recipe is perfect for you.
What’s for Dinner says tired of boring butternut recipes? Try this one for Baked Creamy Chilli Butternut. It’s sure to be a spicy, satisfying family favourite.
Ingredients
- 500g butternut, peeled and cubed
- 250ml milk
- 125ml cream
- 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 5ml chilli paste
- 1 x KNORR Thick White Onion Soup
- chives, chopped (for garnish)
Method
- Preheat oven to 180C
- Place cubed butternut into an ovenproof casserole dish
- In a jug mix together the remaining ingredients except for the chives and pour over the butternut
- Cover with tinfoil and bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 30minutes
- Remove tinfoil and bake for a further 20 – 30 minutes or until tender
- Garnish with chopped chives
