Glamfair brings girl power to Polokwane

Young women in the city were treated to a networking session hosted by Glamfair at St Maria Boutique in Ster Park on Saturday, 26 May.

POLOKWANE – “Glamfair prides itself on beautifying women of all sizes and ages daily, especially for special days and occasions. For the past three years, Glamfair has celebrated its existence with the involvement of young emerging businesses as it is important to stand together and support each other as young business owners,” Caroline Seabi, founder of Glamfair, explained.

Seabi added for the past two years Glamfair has been supported by the Department of Health in their Girl Code initiative through which they facilitate various programmes which focus on assisting young women to achieve health and career excellence.

Khomotso Maluleke, Kgopotso Mahlane and Nakana Mamasila are eager to learn more about women’s health.

“Today’s topics are interesting and relevant to our age group with regard to sexual practices and maximum pleasures without risking your health. Let’s listen attentively and engage; don’t be intimidated by the presenter’s age as no question is off-limits,” she added.

As Monday, 28 May was International Day of Action for Women’s Health, she encouraged the women to celebrate this occasion, not only on the day but throughout the year as women’s human rights, and particularly sexual and reproductive rights, continue to be systematically violated worldwide.
