POLOKWANE – Learners received certificates in recognition of their achievements in academics in front of their peers and family last Tuesday.
The Principal, Johannes Makhura, said the aim of the awards ceremony was to encourage learners to work even harder and to achieve the best possible results.
“We started giving the top performers awards last term as we want to cultivate a culture of learning and competitiveness among the learners, which will improve the school’s overall performance. The awards were meant to motivate the learners. We acknowledge the selfless sacrifices these learners make in order to make meaningful contributions to their education,” he said.
“We encourage the learners to be consistent with their performances, not only in primary school but throughout their school careers and lives.”
