Two die in head-on collision near Solomondale

POLOKWANE – According to spokesperson for the department of transport, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala, the accident occurred on the R81, near Solomondale.

“A Toyota Corolla collided head on with a oncoming Toyota Hilux. The driver and passenger of the Hilux were declared dead on scene and the driver and a passenger of the Corolla were seriously injured,” he said.

The injured passengers were taken to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.
