Police appeal to public to help find missing pensioner
Johanna Mosima Malapile (71) was reported missing on Friday 18 May
LIMPOPO – Malapile from Ga-Chokoe village outside Mapela was last seen at around 15:30 at her home on Wednesday 16 May. According to information she left her residence to buy beverages at the local tavern and has not been seen since, Police spokesperson Constable Maphure Manamela said.
“The matter was brought to the attention of the Police and the police from Mahwelereng police station jointly with the residents tried to locate the woman at friends and relatives without any success,” Manamela added.
The police in Mahwelereng have since launched a massive search operation and appeal to anyone with information about the whereabouts of this woman to contact Captain Petrus Nkhumane at 076 917 7747/ Alternatively they can contact the police emergency toll free number 08600 10111 or the sms crime line 32211.
They may also contact the nearest police station, concluded Manamela.
