Use water sparingly as the Ebenezer plant is off for maintenance

POLOKWANE – According to a statement released by the municipality, Lepele Northern Water is installing a valve at the high lifts pump station at the Ebenezer plant.

“The process is estimated to take between three and four hours,” said communications and marketing manager, Matshisido Mothapo.

He added that during this period all supplied from the line will be effected including Polokwane, Mankweng and Mamabolo.

The Polokwane municipality are once again calling for residents to use water sparingly after the latest resevoir levels were measured.

Mothapo said the municipality needs residents to understand that water is something that every person needs and the call to save water or reuse stems from a real water problem.

The reservoir levels are:

Potgieter 27%

50 Megaliter 65%

30 Megaliter dome 55%

30 Megaliter flat reservoir 56%

Extension 34 reservoir is at 45%

Seshego 10%

Ebenezer 154%

Olifants 67%
