Volkswagen claims this SUV to have a 7.7 litres/100 km fuel consumption rate.
Driving like a dream especially when we open the panoramic sunroof for some fresh autumn air this beast screams comfort. The Tiguan even makes parallel parking easy with rear view camera parking assist features and it falls in the line of other modern cars with a key less start button. The driver seat with ‘Vienna’ leather upholstery, like the rest of the seats, are able to move in every direction according to your liking with electric seat adjustment and can change temperatures when your driving experience gets too sweaty or too frosty.
There is enough room for three passengers with lots of leg space. Another impressive feature is the rear seat tray tables with an extra cup holder for both passengers. Yes, the Tiquan provides two extra seats at the tail that is big enough for youngsters.
The boot space might be a little cramped but when considering the extra back seats it can be overlooked. The tail door has an electric opening and closing feature which makes a parent’s life much easier during rushed school mornings.
When it comes to infotainment this Volkswagen is a ‘pro’. It consists of eight speakers with a DYNAUDIO premium sound system. It has a 8.0” touchscreen radio/CD with MP3/WMA compatibility and Bluetooth system. SD card slots, USB input and AUX-In jacks are available nearly everywhere, from front to back and even in the glove box.
This Tiquan is definitly recommended for families who are looking for a safe and comfortable ride.
