LIMPOPO – According to police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, the suspects stole six firearms as well as an undisclosed amount of money including Rands and Dollars.

The firearms that were robbed were three rifles, two pump gun rifles and one revolver.
The first two suspects accosted the security guard, aimed their firearms and instructed him to call the owner of the lodge saying there was a leopard in the vicinity.
“When the owner came out to check, he was immediately pointed with firearms and forced into the house. They demanded the keys to the safe and the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and firearms. The owner’s wife was also assaulted with the butt of a firearm. The other two suspects tied three security guards, three employees, the owner and his wife up,” Ngoepe explained.
The suspects fired one shot and left the scene in the owner’s vehicle. It was later found abandoned in Acornhoek in Mpumalanga.
