POLOKWANE – Spokesperson for the Department, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala says the 54-year-old man was driving a grey VW Amarok when he was arrested for speeding.

“The motorist was caught driving at 172km/h at around 07:23 this morning. He is currently being detained at the Naboomspruit police Station,” he said.
Moremi-Taueatsoala added that the Department wish to reiterate that the roads in Limpopo are considered a no tolerance zone and those who do not obey the rules of the road will be arrested without fear or favour.
“For as long as you want to be on the safe side of the law, continue adhering to the rules of the road and stick to the speed limit, that way, you will arrive alive,” he concluded.
