Cupcake sale to raise funds for good cause for the school

Learners at Northview Christian Academy were treated to a cupcake day on Friday. Although the cupcakes were not for free, it was for a good cause as the money raised on the day will be used to purchase extra resources needed in classrooms.
Grade 2 educator and head of the department, Candice Janse van Rensburg said cupcake days are normally held for grades 1 to 3 but this time around it was only for the Grade 2s and cupcakes, muffins and cake slices were offered at a minimal price.
The money raised will be used to purchase much needed resources such as reading and Mathematics material, among others.
