Manhunt for highly wanted suspect

Police have launched a manhunt for a highly wanted suspect believed to be involved in a recent series of violent crimes in the Apel policing area.
Provincial Police Spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe indicated that Karel Nchabeleng (26) is sought by Police for crimes including murder, attempted murder and armed robbery. He is the prime suspect in several cases recently reported in the area and is also linked to other cases of hijacking in the same area, according to Ngoepe.
He added that Nchabeleng was previously arrested and released on bail but failed to appear in court again resulting in the Sekhukhune Magistrate’s Court issuing a warrant for his arrest. Ngoepe could not indicate when Nchabeleng last appeared in court.
