Limpopo Traffic Official hijacked and shot by four armed suspects
The traffic official was shoved into the boot of his vehicle.

LIMPOPO – According to spokesperson for the department of transport, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala, the traffic officer, stationed in Mutale, was hijacked on Sunday morning, 8 April in Khubvi village.

Moremi-Taueatsoala says four armed men, traveling in a gold Toyota Corolla, hijacked the official at gun point, shoved him in the boot and drove around in the car.
“The suspects then dumped the patrol vehicle in Ha-Luvhimba and took the official with them,” he said.
A search then ensued and the officer was found in Phiphidi.
“We can confirm that seriously injured and plans are being made to him airlifted to Polokwane for medical treatment,” Moremi-Taueatsoala confirmed.
