Mokopane reservoirs empty, dry weekend ahead

Residents of Mokopane need to prepare immediately for a dry weekend as the reservoirs don’t have any water and no water is able to be pumped in.

MOKOPANE – Freedom Front Plus Limpopo Leader, Marcelle Maritz, said there were planned water interruptions from 05:00 Saturday morning to 05:00 Monday morning but the reservoirs ran dry before the interruption could be implemented.

“I urge residents to immediately prepare for the water shortage. I know it is frustrating and unexpected but there is nothing anyone can do now,” Maritz said.
