Enter to become Miss or Mrs EBS 2018

Owner of Elite Beauty Solutions, Wilhrisca Britz, launched the new Miss and Mrs EBS 2018 pageant and encourages woman in and around Polokwane to enter.

POLOKWANE – Established in 2016, Elite Beauty Solutions (EBS) is growing fast in the modeling industry. Their aim is to teach girls self-worth, self-confidence and all necessary need-to-know tricks of the trade when it comes to taking part in fashion shows, beauty pageants, interviews as well as public speaking.

“We not only prepare them for the modelling industry but also for their normal day to day living,” she said.

Britz herself participated in a variety of pageants including Miss Junior SA Top 5 in 2013, she was a regional finalist for Miss South Africa 2014, Miss Limpopo Mzantsi Africa Winner 2014, Mrs Queen of Limpopo Winner 2015 and Mrs Limpopo 2017/18.

Her qualifications include: Internationally Qualified Image Consultant, Fashion Stylist, Beauty Pageant Specialist, Etiquette and Wedding Consultant, Make-Up Artist and Pageant Judge.

“I was also featured on the reality tv show Bosbokkie S1 and I was a background actress in Getroud met Rugby as well as Ignition Ultimate Raceway,” she humbly admits.

“The prizes for Miss and Mrs EBS 2018 is valued at over R70 000. These include: weekends away, gift vouchers at beauty salons, romantic dinners for two, toys and boomboxes, make-up kits, jewellery, sponsored gifts, crowns, sashes, trophies and the list goes on.”

The pageant will take place at The Park Inn by Radisson Polokwane on 28 April. Registration will be from 10:00 to 10:30, the pageant will start at 11:00 and the entry fee is R350.

There are five categories are:

All contestants are required to walk on a half T-ramp and they will be judged on techniques, poise, personality, natural beauty, overall look and eye contact.

The top five will get a certificate and the top three will receive a sash, crown, certificate and gift. There will also be an award for junior and senior personality, best dressed and public choice.

The dress code is evening wear, ball gown or formal and petite and pre-teen contestants are requested not to wear make-up.

“You don’t have to be part of any modelling school or academy to enter, anyone can enter, with or without experience. You can also be from any modelling school or academy and still enter. The modelling school or academy with the most entries will also win a prize,” she added.

Judges will include Vaughn C Lucas as the celebrity judge and 2016’s Miss Teen Universe, Taahirah Zungu.
