English spelling tested at spelling bee

The Ivypark Spelling Bee Competition, presented by Laerskool Ivypark saw Grade 4 to 7 learners from Pietersburg English Medium Primary School (Pemps), Pietersburg Comprehensive School (PCS), Laerskool Chris Hofmeyr and Laerskool Piet Hugo (PH) compete against their hosts last Wednesday and Thursday.
Ivypark delivered the most winners in total with six learners being placed in the top four of the various grades. Minette Espach, one of the organisers thanked everyone who worked towards making the spelling bee a success for all their hard work and effort.
