Woman (24) and son (3) brutally murdered in Siloam

Police are currently searching for three suspects who fled the scene of a brutal murder on Saturday night.

LIMPOPO – Police in Siloam, outside Thohoyandou, have launched a manhunt for three suspects involved in the brutal killing of two people including a three-year-old child and attempting to kill another 29-year-old man.

According to police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, the two deceased Ndamulelo Mushiane (24), her son Ramaligela Munisi (3) and the woman’s partner were sleeping when three unknown suspects broke into and entered their house on Saturday night.

“These suspects killed the woman and the child with a sharp instrument hacked the woman’s partner several times before fleeing the scene. The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and received medical treatment,” Ngoepe explained. 

The motive behind this incident is still unknown and the suspects are also unknown but Ngoepe says investigations continue.
