Winner of our holiday photo competition

A love for photography and also sharks secured Mohsin Tilly (43) from Polokwane first place in the Polokwane Observer holiday photo competition.
His entry titled ‘Jaw dropping’ was indeed jaw dropping and chosen as the winner out of 38 photos. Six late entries were also received.
Tilly said he took the photo on his Samsung S7 and had to wait a long time for the perfect shot, which was taken at the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town on 7 January. “I have a deep interest in sharks and absolutely love photography, especially still life,” he revealed.
He further said he was going to use his prize money of R1 000 to treat his family. “I haven’t decided yet exactly what the treat will be,” he said, adding his thanks to Polokwane Observer.
